The core SepticSpec calculators run in your browser. We do not require an account or ask you to submit a property address to calculate a result.
Local storage
The site may use browser local storage for practical tool state, such as the percolation timer. This stays on your device unless your browser or an enabled third-party service processes other data separately.
Advertising and analytics
SepticSpec is designed to support advertising. Google advertising code may be present on content and calculator pages. Where consent is required for users in the UK, EEA or Switzerland, a Google-certified consent management platform must handle those advertising choices. Third-party services have their own privacy policies.
Server logs
Our hosting and security providers may process standard technical request data such as IP address, browser information, timestamps and requested URLs for delivery, abuse prevention and security.
